The U.S. adaptation of a popular U.K. format
lead off the CBS summer schedule when it debuted
Wednesday, May 31, 2006.

Lake hosted the Game Show Marathon, in which celebrities compete as
contestants in recreations of classic formats of the past and present.
The initial seven-episode run was devoted to Let's Make a Deal,
The Price Is Right, Match Game (featuring
panelists Betty White and George Foreman), Card Sharks,
Press Your Luck, Beat the Clock and
Family Feud - with Leslie Nielsen, Tim Meadows,
Lance Bass, Kathy Najimy, Paige Davis and Adrienne Curry on board as
participants - and all winnings
went to charity.
The "Let's Make a Deal" segment was taped
at CBS Television City in Hollywood on March 23 and was
broadcast on June 1, 2006.
